December 24, 2021 – New Orleans, LA – Free dolls, bikes and board games were only a few of the toys offered to families during The Devin Espadron Entrepreneurship Giveback Foundation event in Harvey. Filling cars with unwrapped new toys donated by Element Beverage Co., The Lemonade Diaries Podcast and local contributors, the charity event provided over 400 gifts to excited local kids.
“The last two years were tough especially for parents out of work due to Covid,” said Keishia Deverney, co-owner of Element Beverage and host of The Lemonade Diaries Podcast. “Our son, Devin, who inspired this event, would want us to help families enjoy the holidays. That’s all the motivation we need to get to work.”
Founder of Element Beverage, Devin Espadron lost his life to gun violence in 2019 in New Orleans at the age 22. Committed to keeping his life and business legacy alive, his parents became the co-owners of his beverage company and created the Giveback Foundation to help young entrepreneurs create new business ventures.
Attracting a long line of cars throughout the day, the event provided toys, music, food, Element lemonade and a corvette car show to guests.
