Camp to Offer Aspiring Filmmakers a Glimpse into the Magic of Hollywood with Celebrity Mentors and Hands-On Film Production. Ages 10-18 Invited to Join the Star-Studded Experience in 2025!

New Orleans, LA — It’s time to roll the cameras on the opportunity of a lifetime. The acclaimed On The Set Celebrity Film Camp is back for 2025 — and for the first time ever, it’s bringing the excitement of Hollywood to New Orleans.

This immersive, hands-on program offers aspiring young filmmakers, actors, and directors ages 10-18 the chance to learn directly from top industry professionals and Hollywood celebrities, all while creating original short films and developing essential skills in cinematography, acting, directing, and producing.

Auditions for the New Orleans camp will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at City Park’s Pavilion of the Two Sisters (1 Victory Avenue) during the BLK INK Book Festival & Short Film Premiere. Selected participants will take part in the two-week camp from June 2-13, 2025, in New Orleans.

During the camp, students will help produce a segment of Game Changer — an original, multi-city film series exploring youth’s social struggles at home and school and the life-changing impact of making positive choices. This powerful project is designed to inspire, challenge, and empower young voices.

Over the years, On The Set Celebrity Film Camp has featured an impressive lineup of mentors, including Elise Neal (2024), Pooch Hall (2022), Lisa Ray (2020), Carl Payne (2019), and Lamman Rucker (2018, 2023), among other acclaimed film and TV stars.

The camp promises a true film industry experience, where students will:
– Collaborate with peers and celebrity mentors
– Take part in hands-on workshops
– Learn the art of storytelling, acting, and production
– Showcase their work at a special final event
